대학도서관 주제화 유형 = The Types of Subject Divisinal Plan for University Libraries

국문 초록 (Abstract)

정보환경과 이용자 요구의 변화에 대한 효과적인 대응방법의 하나로 도입된 주제화는 점차 다양한 형태로 대학도서관에 정착되어 가고 있다. 주제화의 유형을 분석한 결과 장서배치에 따라서는 단일건물형과 공간구분형으로, 조직 구조에 따라서는 일체형, 혼합형, 그리고 팀제형으로 구분할 수 있다.
대학도서관의 주제화는 점차 대학 규모의 거대화와 도서관 장서의 증가, 그리고 중앙도서관의 서비스 전문화 노력, 사서의 전문성 확보의 필요성, 그리고 이용자들의 전문화, 주제화된 서비스요구에 따라 점차 주제도서관 형태로 변화되어 갈 것으로 예상된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Subject Divisional Plan which was brought in as a solution for changing information circumstances and users' needs is gradually getting settled in the university libraries in various forms, The type of Subject Divisional Plan can be classified by the arrangement of collections and the organization structure. By the arrangement of collections, it can be divided into a form of single building and a form of space division. By the organization structure, it can be categorized into a form of one body, mixture, and team. Ultimately, step by step, a form of Subject Divisional plan is expected to change into the form of Subject Library. This change will result from the followings: First, a tendency to the universities' getting on a gigantic scale and the increase of library collections. Second, the central libraries' effort for service specialization and the need for securing the speciality of librarians. Third, users' demand for specialized and subject-divided service.
