비구조화된 REBT 집단상담이 대학생의 진로성숙도 및 의사결정유형에 미치는 효과 = The Effects of Unstructured REBT Group Counseling for Career Maturity and Decision Making Style of College Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 비구조화된 REBT 집단상담이 대학생의 진로성숙도와 의사결정유형에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 연구대상은 서울시내 소재의 한 대학에서 교직과목을 수강하고 있는 대학생을 대상으로 실험집단과 통제집단에 무선 할당하여 실험집단에 비구조화된 REBT 집단상담을 2시간씩 9주 동안 실시하고 통제집단에는 아무런 처치를 가하지 않았다. 비모수검증인 Mann-Whitney U test를 실시하여 두 집단이 동질임을 확인하였으며 비구조화된REBT 집단상담 실시 후에 실험집단의 진로성숙도가 비교집단에 비해 유의미하게 (P<.05) 증가하였음을 비모수검증인 Wilcoxon signed-rank test를 통하여 알 수 있다. 반면에 비교집단은 변화가 없었다. 또한 의사결정유형에서도 비구조화된 REBT 집단상담을 받은 실험집단의 합리적 유형과 직관적 유형에서도 비모수검증인 Wilcoxon signed-rank test를 통하여 유의미한 변화(P<.05)가 있었지만 의존적 유형에서는 유의미한 변화가 없었다. 대학생들의 올바른 진로결정을 위해 진로태도 성숙과 합리적 의사결정이 요구된다. 진로태도 성숙과 합리적 의사결정에는 필연적으로 인간의 기능적 사고가 내재되어 있으며 이를 다루고 있는 REBT 집단상담이 효과가 있음을 입증하는 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of non-structured REBT group counseling on career maturity attitude and decision making style. For this study, one experimental group and one control group, composed of 18 college students in total, were organized and treatment was conducted on these groups. The experimental group, composed of 7 college students, attended non-structured REBT group counseling. Control group composed of 11 college students received no treatment at all. Treatment lasted an nine-week period. In each week, a two-hour-long session was conducted. These two groups turned out to be homogeneous by Mann-Whitney U nonparametric test. The Career Maturity Scale and Career Decision Making Scale were the instruments used to measure the effects of treatment. Wilcoxon signed-rank test was employed to find differences between groups after treatments. The experimental group showed significant differences statistically compared with control group in career maturity attitude score and decision making style. These results imply that non-structured REBT group counseling enhances career maturity attitude and rational/intuitive decision making style which are major factors in career development.
