Transfer of learning has been a vital concern for training effectiveness. For training to be effective, learners should be able to use what they learn in training program back on the job. However, while the importance of transfer of learning is commonly accepted in practice and research, few studies have suggested action-oriented strategies to facilitate transfer. That is, there are few practical guidelines on how to manage transfer of learning throughout training process. Thus, this study sought to identify and recommend transfer interventions which can be used in practice to enhance transfer of learning. The study employed a review of literature as a primary method. The research findings were provided based on a matrix showing the roles of key stakeholders(manager, trainer, and learner) and three time frames(before, during, and after), since key stakeholders must be closely involved in all phases of training to achieve effective transfer of learning. Finally, several agenda for future research on transfer of learning are suggested.
