우리나라 호텔기업의 체인화 도입실태에 관한 연구 : 특1급 호텔을 중심으로 = A Study on the Actual Status of Hotel Chain Introduction in Korea

Hotel industry of Korea Highly developed from 1960. And Americana Hotel Chain introduced in 1978, Sheraton Hotel in 1978, Hyatt Hotel in 1978, Hilton Hotel in 1983.
Hotel industry of Korea has international competitive power as to be introduced world wide Chain Hotels.
But, Korean Hotel staffs to be controlled by foreign management, Hotel should be expended a lot of money for foreign countries as Royalty & Personal expenses.
As following, I can have a 3kinds of results.
First, I found already in the problem point parts before. Royalty & Foreign personal expenses are very high. For example, "H" Hotel at Seoul in 1996, Management Fee 2,543million won, Commission by yearly 973 million won, Group Service 143 million won, Wages by yearly 818million won, Accommodation Expense 159 million won, Totally Expense Cost are 4,746 million won yearly.
Second, Korean employees to be on the decrease, because foreign employees are introduced more than before. Now a days, Korea will be controlled by IMF economic system and will be increased unemployment.
So we have to develope the Korean style Hotel management and we have to hire Korean employees.
Maybe one foreign management will be payed ten Korean employees wages.
Third, Korea have to be established a school of Hotel management likely U. S. A. of European Hotel School. All students can speak 3 National Languages with Mother Tongue and have to learn about technical side of Hotel Management.
So our country don't expense a lot of money for foreign countries and have to earn the money from the foreign countries.
