Dielectric barrier discharge(DBD) is used for bacteria sterilization or disinfection in the medical field, but there is a critical limitation that high ozone generation can cause harmful effect for human. This paper proposes a new system to inactivate the airborne bacteria with lower ozone generation than before by the humidity control[1]. The humidity was controlled by nebulizer and dehumidifier. As the humidity increased, when comparing the relative humidity 30% to 70%, the ozone generation decreased 10 times and survival rate of bacteria decreased by 50%.
