상담자 경력에 따른 상담 단계별 공감정확도 변화 = The Variation of Empathy accuracy at Counseling stage according to Counselor`s Experience Levels

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 상담자 경력에 따른 상담 단계별 공감정확도의 변화를 탐색하였다. 상담실제 장면에서 상담자-내담자 31쌍을 대상으로 내담자 지각에 따른 초기상담(1회기∼3회기), 후기상담(8회기∼10회기) 각각 두 번의 공감정확도를 측정하였다. 이와 같은 조건을 만족한 31쌍의 각각의 상담사례를 해당 회기마다 전체 음성 녹음하였고 Ickes의 공감정확도 측정 방법을 활용하여 공감정확도를 측정하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 공감정확도 측정 연구방법은 3단계로 첫째, 내담자가 자신의 생각이나 감정에 대해 인식하여 기록하는 단계, 둘째, 순간순간 기록된 내담자의 생각이나 감정을 상담자가 추측하는 단계, 셋째, 내담자가 자신의 생각이나 감정에 대해 상담자가 추측한 내용에 대하여 상담자의 공감정확도를 평정하는 단계이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The current study searched the changes of the empathic accuracy of counseling sessions depending on the counselor experience levels. Data was collected from 31 counselor-client dyads in real-life counseling settings. A counseling session for 31 counselor-client dyads satisfying the selection criterion were recorded for one session and counselor`s empathic accuracy in the early counseling phase(1∼3 counseling session) and late counseling phase(8∼10 counseling session) was measured by one time respectively and analyzed using the Empathic Accuracy Measure by Ickes. The procedure to assess empathic evaluation included three steps: (a) clients recognize and write down their thoughts and feelings while listening to the audiotapes, (b) counselors infer their client`s thoughts and feelings, (c) clients rate the statements of counselors` empathic accuracy.
