함께 읽기와 동료 비평을 통한 글쓰기 수업 = University writing course based on peer-review

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper introduces ‘Writing for Humanities’ course of SeoulNational University as an approach to strengthen the writing ethics ofits broader meaning. The course is organized as follows: all studentswrite their essays three times in a semester; 3 to 5 essays areselected for every 75-minutes class; students read the selected essaysand leave their comments on the on-line classroom board before aclass; in a class hour writers and reader-students discuss about theessays; writers revise their essays and upload them again on theon-line board. A course has up to 25 students, 3 hours a week in asemester(15 weeks). Students of this course feel great responsibilityfor their essays because all the peer students read and comment them. This responsibility can lead writers to more ethical writing.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

표절적발과 체벌을 넘어서 보다 광의의 윤리의식을 제고하기 위한 한 시도로서함께 읽기와 동료 비평을 중심으로 한 글쓰기 수업 방법론을 예시하였다. 이 글쓰기 수업은 25명의 학생들이 한 학기 동안 각각 세 편의 글을 쓰고 이를 수업게시판에 공개한 후 매 수업시간 마다 3-5편씩을 다함께 읽고 서면 답글과 대면질의 및 토론을 벌이는 방식이다. 2009년 1학기의 한 강좌 수업에서 학생들이 어떤 글을 썼으며 어떤 답글을 남겼는지 사례를 제시하였다. 학생들은 이 수업을통해 글쓴이가 가져야 하는 책임감을 체험하며 윤리의식에 한발 다가서게 된다.
또한 여기서 더 나아가 글을 통한 상호 소통의 중요성과 즐거움까지도 느끼는 것으로 판단된다.
