Chloride ions are considered to be the major cause of steel corrosion in concrete structures exposed to seashore environments and also permeation of chloride is controlled by chloride diffusion. Therefore, the study on chloride diffusion of concrete have been done so far by many researchers.
In this study, to examine the chloride penetration properties of concrete using fly-ash and blast-furnace slag powder as replacements of cement, it is compared and investigated the replacement ratio of fly-ash and blast-furnace slag powder with each 3 levels. Therefore, it is intended to grasp the chloride penetration properties of concrete including effects of W/B ratio and age, as other mix factors.
