음악의 치유기능에 대한 고찰 = A Study on the Function of Music as Healing

국문 초록 (Abstract)

음악은 인간의 가장 원초적인 활동으로 인류의 시작과 함께 지금까지 존재해 오며 우리의 마음에 평안과 위로를 주고, 우리의 영혼을 고조시키며, 성스러움을 자극하기도 하는 치유기능을 가지고 있다. 일반 학문에서는 1940년대부터 음악의 치유기능에 대한 다각적인 연구가 진행되었고 현재 음악이 여러 방면으로 유기체에 도움을 주고 있다. 기독교교육현장에서도 음악의 중요성을 인식하고 좀더 깊은 연구와 논의 그리고 적용이 있기를 기대하면서 본 연구에서는 음악의 치유기능과 그 이면의 원리에 대해 논의하였다. 구체적으로, 음악의 치유의 역사, 성경에 나타난 음악의 치유기능, 그리고 음악에는 구체적으로 어떤 치유의 기능이 있으며, 치유를 가능하게 하는 원리에 대해 논의하고, 이런 음악을 기독교교육에서 어떻게 활용할 것인가를 제안하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Since ancient times, music has played an essential part in human life. Music has been used as a means of healing since the beginning of mankind. In secular academic circle, music therapy has been investigated and practiced in multiple dimensions. However, in Christian circles, the healing function of music has been neglected. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to emphasize and awaken the importance of music as healing power. A brief historical overview of music therapy, the healing function of music in the Bible, the healing phenomena of music and the principles of healing of music will be discussed. In addition, some practical application of music in Christian education will be suggested.
