중국 전통문양을 이용한 도시 안내시스템의 적용성 연구 = A Study on the Application of Urban Guidance System Using Traditional Chinese Patterns

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인류 문명이 21세기로 접어들면서, 도시의 끊임없는 발전과 확장의 영향으로 사람들의 생활양식은 진보와 혁신을 거듭하고 있다. 도시문화와 관련된 건설에는 더 많은 필요성과 수요자들의 요구가 생겨났고, 도시 안내시스템은 도시문화, 문명의 중요한 구성요소이자 도시 이미지와 역사 문화의 중요한 매개체가 되었다.
현재 중국에서 안내시스템은 도시 기반시설처럼 존재하고, 지하철역, 버스정류장, 공항, 모든 공공공간 내에서 중요한 기능을 발휘하며 사람들의 생활에 편리함을 가져오고 외출의 효율성을 높이고 있다. 안내시스템이 사람에게 길을 인도하는 기능성은 그 존재의 기본 전제이지만, 이러한 의미를 충족시키는 것 외에도 디자인이 점점 사람들에게 중시되고 있다. 최근 중국의 현대 시각디자인 분야에서는 서양의 신사조가 유입되어 중국이 지닌 가치관과 심미관에 점점 스며들면서, 일부 현지 디자인 작품들이 민족의 개성에서 벗어나고 그 특성를 잃어버리게 되었다. 이에따라 도시 안내시스템 디자인에서 어떻게 중국의 전통 문양을 전승하고 발전시켜 더 심층적이고 광범위하게 응용할지에 관한 문제점이 오늘날 중국의 디자이너에게 직면한 중요한 과제가 되었다.
본 논문은 도시 안내시스템 디자인에서 중국 전통 문양의 응용에 관한 연구로서 먼저 원시시대부터 명청시대까지 중국 전통 문양의 역사적 발전 맥락을 간략히 분석하고, 매 시기 전통 문양을 심층적으로 소개하여 도시 안내시스템 디자인에서의 응용가치 연구에 충분한 이론적 토대와 근거를 마련하였다. 그리고, 도시 안내시스템의 개념, 역사적 발전, 분류, 응용 이론의 몇 가지 측면을 상세히 기술하고 정리함으로써, 도시 안내시스템의 디자인 원칙, 디자인 요소, 주의사항을 분석했다. 또한, 중국 고대 ‘실크로드’의 시작점인 13조고도 시안시의 지하철 안내시스템을 주요 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 안내시스템 디자인에서 어떻게 역 이름에 한자를 소재로 활용했는지 정리하고, 중국 전통 문양 기호를 안내시스템 디자인에 결합했다. 더불어, 도시 지하철 안내시스템의 전통 문양 요소 응용에서 나타난 문화성, 독특성, 유일성을 정리하였다.
급속도로 발전하는 오늘날, 진보된 디자인 이념과 중국 전통 문양의 자원을 충분히 활용하여 전통 문양의 특징을 계승하고 이어나가며, 도시 안내시스템 디자인을 풍부하게 함으로써 중국 전통 문양만이 가지고 있는 독특한 예술적 매력을 세계에 들어낼 수 있을 것이다.

Human civilization enters the 21st century, and people's lifestyles continue to progress and innovate due to the constant development and expansion of cities. More pursuits and demands have arisen in the construction related to urban culture, and the urban guidance system has become an important component of urban culture, civilization, and an important medium of urban image and history culture.
Currently in China, it exists like urban infrastructure, plays important functions within subway stations, bus stops, airports and all public spaces, bringing convenience to people's lives and increasing the efficiency of going out. The functionality that guide system guides a person on the road is the basic premise and meaning of its existence, but besides meeting the functionality, design is becoming increasingly important to people. Recently, in the field of modern visual design in China, the influx of Western thought stream has gradually permeated China's values and aesthetics, leaving some local design works out of the ethnic Kaesong and losing their specialties. Thus, the problem of how to transfer and develop traditional Chinese patterns in urban guidance system design and apply them in more depth and breadth has become an important task facing designers today.
This paper is mainly a study on the application of traditional Chinese patterns in urban guidance system design. First, the outline of traditional Chinese patterns briefly analyzed the historical development context of traditional Chinese patterns from primitive times to Mingcheng times, and introduced traditional patterns in every period in depth to lay sufficient theoretical foundation and basis for the study of applied value in urban guidance system design. Then, by detailing and organizing some aspects of the concept, historical development, classification and application theory of the urban guidance system, the design principles, design elements and cautions of the urban guidance system were analyzed. Third, the subway guidance system of the city of Xian, 13 trillion won, the starting point of the ancient Chinese "Silk Road," was conducted as the main target. How the station name Chinese characters were used as materials in the design of the guide system, and the traditional Chinese pattern symbols were combined in the design of the guide system. In addition, the culturality, uniqueness, and uniqueness of the application of traditional pattern elements of the urban subway system were summarized.
In today's rapidly developing world, it will be possible to better reveal to the world the unique artistic charm that only traditional Chinese patterns possess by fully utilizing advanced design ideologies and resources of traditional Chinese patterns to inherit and carry on the characteristics of traditional patterns and enrich urban guidance system design.
