다문화사회 방송의 사회 통합적 기능에 대한 연구: 법적 규범, 방송사의 행위규범과 편성행위를 중심으로 = Societal Integration through the Broadcasting in the Multi-cultural Society: Focusing on Laws, Broadcaster’s Norms and Acts

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The article addresses the societal integration concepts on media communicationcurrently discussed in the scientific community. Traditional concepts often overratethe societal integration potential of the mass media by expecting concrete materialaccomplishment. More recent theoretical reflections, on the other hand, scale down,so to speak, these societal integrative accomplishment to communication processes.
Apparently, normative requirements are then no longer necessary. The authors showthat, by handling and making themes available form all societal subsystems, the television as mass media assets as well as symbolically to make a contribution to societal integration in fact. This study suggest the incorporation as a concept of more practical and alternative with regard to societal integration in our multi-cultural policy. In this context, this study diagnose the reality of the legal system, public broadcaster’s organizational norms and behaviors. However, there are limitations as to what we present the criteria in more detail for broadcasters’ conduct and Broadcasting Act amendment.
