Construction technology has been developed along with technological innovation. However, there’s no dramatic improvement realized yet because of the way to reduce the term of construction work, mostly through working on site, has not been changed that much. In order to solve this problem, many researches about pre-fabricating bridging are going on right now but there are not that many researches going on about bridge cab yet. The entire production of coping part generally has been made on site, however, this research developed a pre-made coping part that enables fabrication only on site to reduce the total construction time.
In this research, we designed and experimented on the fabricated bridge pier cab, coping part, using not only the reinforced concrete bridge generally constructed but also the coupler which connects both steel reinforcements and the tendon which makes divided segments one. In addition, we suggested and studied the pier – coping junction part which fits into the ICH-CFT fabricated column by performing the three kinds of experiment.
