This study explores regional differences in perceptions of the sustainability of the Tourism Dure Project based on in-depth interviews with project directors in Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do. Using topic modeling of interview transcripts, the study examines how sustainability is interpreted by policy implementers in different regional contexts. The results suggest that while both regions recognize the importance of collaboration among residents, businesses, and local governments, differences in emphasis are observed. In Jeolla-do, sustainability tends to be associated with administrative support, field capacity, and community stability, whereas in Gyeongsang-do it is more closely linked to business development, operational efficiency, and performance outcomes. These findings imply that the sustainability of the Tourism Dure Project may be shaped by region-specific contexts and highlight the need for more context-sensitive policy approaches.
