박완서 소설 <그 남자네 집>의 젠더 수행성과 장소 = The Gender Identity and Place of Park Wan-seo`s Novel Focusing on His House(<그 남자네 집>)

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Having the place represented the current society and culture, this novel reproducing the Korea’s post-war society as a house reveals the change of the author`s impressibility about the place along with the change of the place. Accordingly the author`s intentional chance can be perceived. The change of our perception of gender depending on the elements of nation, society and economics shows new aspect in the gender identity of characters in the novel. Namely, the stereotyped perception flows into the flexible gender place. The counter-memories of author revealed through the adaptation proves that otherness was necessary aspect to form the oneself by constitutive outside of oneself. Accordingly this novel is based on the last days of the Korean War and extracted house as memory of space, sense of space and projected into the present time as a new method and implicate the policy of the literature.
