청소년의 공감능력 향상을 위한 음악 학습지도안: MGI프로그램과 자율적 협동학습 모형을 적용하여 : 중학교 3학년을 대상으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

21세기 4차산업사회가 진행되면서 인공지능(AI)의 역할이 대두되고 있다. 이러한 이유로 현대사회에서는 ‘인간만이 할 수 있는 역량이 무엇인가?’에 대한 연구가 국제적으로 활발하게 진행되고 있는 실정이다. 그 역량은 중 하나로 공감능력에 대한 연구가 이뤄지고 있다. 공감능력은 소통의 토대가 되는 능력으로 다른 사람의 감정과 시각을 이해하며 더 나아가 타인을 위해서 적극적으로 행동하려는 의지이다. 그러나 현대사회는 핵가족화, 형제자매의 감소, 맞벌이 가정의 증가 등과 팬데믹으로 인한 온라인 수업의 증가로 인해서 가정과 학교에서 제공해 오던 정서적 지원이 약화되었다. 이러한 공감 능력의 결핍은 사회적 문제의 원인이 되고 있으며 국가적으로 교육부에서도 학생들의 공감과 소통능력 향상을 위한 ‘어울림 프로그램이’ 시행되고 있다. 음악은 효과적으로 정서를 전달하는 수단이며 비언어적 의사소통 도구이다. 이러한 음악은 공감능력과 매우 밀접한 상관관계를 맺고 있다. 본 연구에서는 음악을 활용한 공감 교육의 필요성에 대해 고찰하고 청소년의 공감능력 향상을 위한 음악학습지도안을 개발 할 것이다. 이를 위해 공감능력 향상을 위해 개발된 ‘음악그룹상호작용(Music Group Interaction)프로그램’에 ‘자율적 협동학습 모형’을 적용하여 음악수업과 연계한 교수 ・ 학습방법을 연구하고자 한다. 이 지도안은 중학교 3학년을 대상으로 하며 MGI프로그램의 공감능력 향상 음악 요소(EPMCs)를 바탕으로 한다. 이는 동시성, 모방, 모호함, 목적 공유, 공통 주관성 등으로 이루어져 있으며 학습지도안은 이러한 요소들이 포함된 음악게임을 수업에 적용하여 진행된다. 또한 구성주의에 자율적 협동 학습은 협동을 통한 학생중심의 교수이론으로 ‘MGI프로그램’에서 고안한 음악게임들이 ‘자율적 협동학습의 모형’을 통해서 교수-학습 지도안에서 보다 체계적으로 적용될 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

As the 4th industrial society progressed in the 21st century, the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) comes to the fore. For this reason, in modern society, studies are actively conducted on “What are the competencies only humans have?” internationally. One of the competencies is the very empathy capability. Empathy capability is the ability that is the foundation of communication, which is the intent to understand other people’s feelings and perspectives and further actively act for them. However, in modern society, emotional support has become weakened, which has been provided by homes and schools, due to the increasing tendency of nuclear families, a decrease in siblings, an increase in the number of dual-income families, and the increase of online classes due to the pandemic. This lack of empathy capability becomes the cause of social problems, and nationally, the Ministry of Education implements the‘ Eoullim Program’ to improve students’ empathy and communication skills. Music is an effective means to convey emotions and a non-verbal communication tool. This music has a very close correlation with empathy capability. This study would discuss the necessity of empathy education using music and develop a music teaching plan for music to promote adolescents’ empathy. For this purpose, this study would investigate the teaching and learning method in connection to music classes, applying the ‘autonomous cooperative learning model’ to the ‘music group interaction program’ developed for empathy promotion. This teaching plan is for the third year of middle school and is based on the empathy-promoting musical components (EPMCs) of the MGI program. This consists of synchrony, imitation, ambiguity, shared intentionality, and intersubjectivity, and learning instruction guides progress by applying music games that include these elements to classes. In addition, autonomous cooperative learning by constructivism is based on the student-centered teaching theory through cooperation, and music games designed in the ‘MGI program’ will be more systematically applied in teaching-learning guidance through the ‘autonomous cooperative learning model.’
