‘學’으로서의 골프전공에 대한 고찰(II) - 골프관련학과 교과과정을 중심으로 - = The Study on Golf of the "Learning"(II) - A Research on Golf Major Curriculum -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research compare land analyzes cases of Korea, England, America and Canada College & University curriculum of golf department and subsequently inquire into means of improve Korea University curriculum of golf department. This research introduces the following method to improve curriculum of golf department in Korea University. First, the practical portion of the Korea golf curriculum and the relatively low proportion of the theoretical area. Specializing in the area of systematic enrichment is not being done. Curriculum in which other departments and universities are connected should be builded so that golf education may be conducted systematically and professionally leading to consistent education in golf. Second, each University must establish a clear and specific goal. Third, various specialized program in which internal/external golf industry are involved should be established to expand the field of golf education. Such methods shall construct an advanced education system and lead to a specialized and differentiated golf education. Moreover, such golf education shall promote students with professional talent contributing to an enhancement on golf education.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 골프학과 교과과정의 학습목표, 졸업 후 진로 등을 분석한 후 외국의 골프관련학과와 비교를 통해서 어떠한 차이가 있는지 살펴보았다. 골프가 하나의 ‘學’으로 발전하기 위해서는 특정분야로 편중되지 않고 균형 잡힌 학문으로 발전할 수 있는지 체육철학 적 관점에서 고찰함으로써 골프학의 발전에 도움이 되는 제안을 하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다.
본 연구의 결과 우리나라 골프학과 교과과정은 실기비중이 높고 이론영역의 비중이 상대적으로 낮아 전문 영역의 체계적인 심화학습이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 대학의 학습목표와 졸업 후 진로 사이에서 체계적이고 객관화된 기준 없이 각 대학의 특성과 상황에 맞게 구성되어 궁극적으로는 체육학의 목표, 정체성의 문제고착 등 체육학의 발전은 저해하는 원인을 제공하고 있다. 학과의 학습목표와 졸업 후 진로 등 대학의 목표와 교과과정이 일관성 있게 구성되어야 골프가 ‘學’으로 자리매김 할 수 있는 체계를 정립할 수 있을 것이다. 미국이나 캐나다는 PGM과정을 통한 골프산업⦁경영 분야의 전문성을 확보하고 있다. 궁극적으로 이러한 전문성 교육이 골프를 하나의 “學”으로 자리매김 하는데 중요한 역할을 할 수 있을 것이다.
