      The research was to construct the items for "Perceptual Orientation Scale" and to make pre-test for those items in order to perform item analysis.
      The research was done under the philosophical background of Arthur Combs' perceptual psychology that human behavior is the function of behavior's immediate perception.
      The researcher, with his assistants' help constructed about 200 test items based on his pre-arranged twelve perceptual dimensions. Then sent out the items for pre-test and analysed.
      Finally selected 60 item for use. The research has to be continued for its standardization for practical purposes.
      This original kind of applying subjective perception to interpret human behavior is to be encourged.
