The purpose of the study is to understand infant`s physical activities with peers at the age of 2 and its influences on their peer interaction and the development of the children. 26 children of two child-care centers, both of which are located in D metropolitan city, are divided into experimental and comparative groups. The physical activities of the experimental group of 13 children are observed twice a week for 16 weeks; 32 times. The physical activity program consists of individual activity, couple activity and group activity, respectively. The results of the examination identify that the physical activities of young children have positive impacts on their social and emotional behaviors. In terms of developmental areas, physical mobility, socio-communicative skills, socio-emotional aspects and cognitive development of infants are positively influenced by infant`s peer interaction.
