해방기 희곡의 청년담론 연구 = A Study on Youth Discourse in the Era of Liberation's Plays

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

'Youth' is a main key-word to understand 1940's plays before and after liberation, and this thesis aims to look into dual logic-mobilization and resistance-of plays in the era of liberation through 'Youth' discourse. The representation of 'Patriotic Youth' had been highlighted during the wartime, and was designated as subject for building nation-state after the liberation. Especially, young men who were drafted into the military or the wartime duties got the images, both victim and hero and became the subject of national narrative after coming back new Chosun. However, the way of portraying Youth representation isn't merely to contribute 'politics of mobilization', it brought nation-state's substance into the question; thus this thesis points out the conflicting aspects of plays in the era of liberation.
Chapter Ⅱ examines plays that patriotic youth as protagonist go forward to establish nation-sate, and Chapter Ⅲ reads the case to treat repatriate's instability and display the 'remainder' left out of the whole as ethnic community. This study finds out the plays in the era of liberation realize logic of mobilization and deviation from nation-state. As a result, plays in the era of liberation can be regarded as a field to show competition between politics and literature, and politics and art.
