In order to complete this study, the comparison analysis of Q-angle on left and right pelvic limbs between two female groups of 20 professional ballet dancers and 25 general college students has been implemented via t-test. On the purpose of measuring the objects, S-377 goniometer set made by Tiger Medical Instrument was put to use. The Q-angle was measured on the angle between two lines drawn from ASIS to the center of patella bone and from the center of patella bone to tibial tuberosity. For physical measurement, these objects wore tight clothing due to seek reference points easier and these points - also, considered as measurement standard - got marked by marker as well before measuring. To increase the measured value credibility, they were obtained in average value from 3 trials and the objects of study practiced foot stamping 5 to 10 times comfortably positioned in spreading their legs then putting down both legs on the ground before measuring. As the result, the average Q-angle values of each group are following: professional ballet dancer valued in 21.26±3.29°(left), 24.27±5.21°(right), while female college student valued in 16.64±4.85°(left), 18.96±5.34°(right). In other words, the Q-angle of first group is 4.62° on the left and 5.31° on the right greater than the second group in average. In conclusion, it implies that, due to twisting and spinning their core muscle and pelvic limbs more often, professional ballet dancers have more injury possibilities compared to people in general in which means they may need to train their muscular strength in order to reduce injuries.
