The boundaries betWIn university and indus science ar technology have been growing unclear. that is the reasα1 why university and industry should cooperate gerly.
The n of this paper is to Suggest a role model of ytechnic universities through a linking with regional industry. Traditionally, the govemment in Korea has played an important role for the prorron of such linkages. Thefore， the concept of the Triple Helix rrel is adopted for reeng university-industry-gov에1 lIJlent relations and suggesting a university’s role mod based on the relations arnong rree actors. πlÍs paper argues that the policy for the link has
been focused on the establishment of the rional research points. In the knowlge based economy, however, we should focus on how efficient1y the points can OpEπate based on the market principle. In terms of this context, we suggest the role mel of the university as an techno-entrmrship uVsity and networking of the polytechnic universities throughout the coun.
