거주지역 무질서가 청소년 우울에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 거주지역 무질서에 대한 청소년의 주관적 인식이 우울에 영향을 미치는 과정을 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구는 관계유대모델과 규범/집합적 효능모델, Ross의 거주지역 무질서 모델을 기초로 하여 연구모형을 설정한 후, 거주지역 무질서와 우울사이의 경로과정을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 한국청소년패널조사 중학교 2학년 4차년도 자료 3,083사례를 활용하였으며, 구조방정식모형 프로그램인 AMOS 5.0을 통해 연구모형을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 구조방정식모형의 측정모형과 구조모형이 모두 자료에 대해 적절한 모형적합도를 나타냈으며, 최종수정모형의 경로관계가 모두 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 최종구조모형 분석결과는 거주지역 무질서가 우울에 영향을 미치는 과정을 3가지의 유의미한 경로를 통해 나타냈다. 첫째, 거주지역 무질서는 가족위험요인에 영향을 주고, 이러한 가족위험요인이 부정적 자아인식의 과정을 통해 친구관계 스트레스에 효과를 미침으로써 우울에 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 거주지역 무질서는 친구관계 스트레스의 매개적 과정만을 통해 우울에 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 거주지역 무질서는 가족위험요인, 자아인식, 친구관계 스트레스의 과정변수들이 포함됨에도 불구하고 우울에 대해 직접적 효과를 나타냈다. 본 연구는 이러한 결과를 토대로 실제적 개입과 추후연구를 위한 방안을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of perceived neighborhood disorder upon depression among adolescents. As specifying a research model based on relationships and ties model, norms/collective efficacy model, and Ross's disorder model, the study analyzed the paths between neighborhood disorder and depression. A total of 3,083 adolescent data from 2006 Korean Youth Panel Study (the fourth wave) were used in this study. This study performed AMOS 5.0 of structural equation modeling to analyze the research model. The analysis results showed that both measurement model and structural model had a good fit to the data and all paths of structural model were statistically significant. The main findings on final structural model provided three significant paths between perceived neighborhood disorder and depression. First, neighborhood disorder affected depression through mediating roles of family risk factors, negative self-concept, and friend-related stress. Second, neighborhood disorder were real ted to depression through only mediating role of friend-related stress. Third, neighborhood disorder had a direct influence on depression after including family risk factors, negative self-concept, and friend-related stress in the model. The results of this study suggest some implications for practical intervention and further research.
