      The purpose of this study was to experimentally analyze the effect of warm water immersion immediately after exercising on EPOC and Adrenergic control. Twenty males (normal group: 10, obesity: 10) were repeatedly treated with each of three conditions in one week 39℃ warm water immersion (whole body except head and upper limbs), warm water immersion of under belly immediately after exercise. The mean body temperature, oxygen uptake, GH and FFA results were that there is significantly difference between the repeating (EX+PBW and EX+WBW) and the recovery period (p<.05). The statistical data partial body immersion and whole body immersion immediately after exercise was significantly greater in normal than obesity people (p<.05) Ghrelin and Leptin show higher result when half body immersion and whole body immersion immediately after exercise rather than exercise. As the above result, increasing metabolism on recovery caused by workout rapidly decreases, but slow decreasing rate of metabolic correction by high temperature is caused by β-Adrenergic control activation. In addition to, for obesities who cannot keep up with long term exercise or handicaps, this treatment may be a better way to lower the percentage of body fat.
