농어촌구조개선사업의 발전 방향 = A Study on the Improvement of Agricultural Structure Adjustment Project

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

After UR in 1994, Korea government made special loan programs, that is, 'Agricultural Structure Adjustment Project'. And government made fund through 'Agricultural Special Tax Project' and spent 82 trillion on agricultural sector for agricultural reforms from 1992 to 2003. But it is difficult to find conspicuous effect about that. There were many mistakes in 'Agricultural Structure Adjustment Project'. But the government will spend 119 trillion($100 billion) over the coming 10 years to develop the agricultural sector as the industry faces further market opening. To avoid repeating the mistake during the UR, when enormous amount of money was spent only to see a failure in reforms, the government should come up with an effective system to implement state budgets after conducting strict evaluations on projects.
