통합교과 교육과정, 주요 문제와 개선 방향 = Integrated Curriculum, Main Issues and Problems

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Two main issues can be found in the field of integrated curriculum in Korea. One is that, integrated curriculum should embody the trans-subjective nature, and the other is that, it should follow the rule of sequence in developing the curriculum. The former issue is related to the peculiar nature of the integrated curriculum distinct from the other subjects, while the latter is related to the status of the integrated curriculum in the whole school curriculum. According to this study, the trans-subjective nature of integrated curriculum can be understood, not that theoretical knowledge should be replaced by practical knowledge, but that theoretical knowledge, main and traditional content of school curriculum, should be treated in its proper manner. And, to follow the rule of sequence in developing integrated curriculum can be understood that, such-and-such activities in the teaching practice of integrated subjects should transact or perform the theoretical knowledge. Thereafter some educational policies follows: It is necessary to reform the developmental procedure of integrated curriculum, to describe teacher's manuel concretely, and to carry out the integrated curriculum in the whole elementary school curriculum.
