    Since 1991 the urban structure of Taejeon have been changed from a single-nucleus to double-nuclei, accelerating the development of Doonsan Newtown in Taejeon's Urban Master Plan. For 10 years after the change, we have experienced rapid changes in population and share of urban function in Old CBD and New CBD.
    The purpose of this paper is to identify the change of ratio of Urban function between Old CBD and New CBD by empirical analysis. And the results can be summarized as follows ; In many parts urban central functions have moved to New CBD in the scope of floor space and the number of employee. In detail, the functions of Wholesale and Retail Service, Game Service, General Office and Food services have moved to Doonsan Newtown. But the function of individual Service and Culture have remained in old CBD until now. So it is recommended as a urban policy that we have to consider a revitalization of Old CBD with these urban functions.

For 10 years after the change, we have experienced rapid changes in population and share of urban function in Old CBD and New CBD.
