The semi-inclusive pseudorapidity distribution of the charged shower particles, produced in the collisions of 300GeV protons with the nuclear emulsion nuclei, is studied for various N_h-n_s groups using the regression function.
lnF=a+bη(θ),
by means of the least square method. And it is found that except for the limiting fragmentation region, the experimental data are successfully expressible with the regression function. The fitted values of b are consistently the same value of 0∼1. independently of N_h and n_s.
