    This study examines the alternatives on how to effectively operate of TIC(Tourist Information Center) to meet the visitors needs. The main purpose of this study is to identify the managerial problems of TIC in Seoul and to provide the best alternatives to overcome those problems. In-depth interviews for 32 tour guide belonging to TIC based in Seoul was carried out from 4 to 27, October, 2006. Results indicate that several alternatives are possible. One of the most important alternatives is motivations to work in a comfortable ambience. Lastly, it is important to insure the government`s willingness to assist to be well operated permanently.
