2022 개정 교육과정에서 미술과 서술형·논술형 평가의 교육적 의의 및 적용 방향성

국문 초록 (Abstract)

다변화하는 현대사회에 능동적으로 대응하기 위해서는 새로운 지식을 창의적, 비판적으로 받아들이고 활용할 수 있는 역량이 요구되고 있으며, 이에 따라 교수방법과 평가에 대한 관점도 변화하고 있다. 특히 종전의 객관식 단답형 문항 중심 평가만으로는 학습자의 이해도를 충분히 측정하기 어렵다는 지적 하에, 우리나라에서도 서술형, 논술형 평가가 교육과정 상에 명문화 되어 있다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 미술교육 현장에 대한 서술형·논술형 평가의 적용 방향성을 모색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 서술형·논술형 평가의 교육적 의의에 대해 고찰하고, 2022 개정 미술과 교육과정에서 서술형·논술형 평가 관련 내용을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 미술과에서의 서술형·논술형 평가는 학생들의 분석력, 비판력, 판단력, 문제해결력, 창의력 등의 고등사고능력을 측정하는 데 유용하며, 이를 통해 비판적 사고능력을 길러줄 수 있는 교수방법으로 선순환 할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이와 같은 결론을 통해 향후 서술형·논술형 평가에 대한 방향성을 제시했다는 점에 연구의 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

To actively respond to the diversifying modern society, the ability to accept and utilize new knowledge creatively and critically is required, and the perspective on teaching methods and evaluation is changing accordingly. In particular, it is pointed out that it is difficult to adequately measure learners' understanding with the existing multiple-choice, short-answer, question-based evaluation. In Korea, descriptive type and essay type assessments are stipulated in the curriculum. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the direction of application of descriptive type and essay type assessments to the field of art education. To this end, the educational significance of these assessments was examined, and the contents related to descriptive type and essay type assessments were analyzed in the 2022 revised national art curriculum. As a result, it was confirmed that descriptive type and essay type assessments in the national art curriculum are useful in measuring students' advanced thinking skills such as analytical ability, critical ability, judgment, problem-solving ability, and creativity, and through this, it can lead to a virtuous cycle as a teaching method that can cultivate critical thinking skills. The significance of the study lies in the fact that such conclusions suggest a direction for future descriptive type and essay type assessments.
