현대패션에 나타난 니트 아이템 경향에 관한 연구 = A Study on a Knit Item Trend expressed in Contemporary Fashion

In this research, it results in following, in the process of gathering and analyzing the knitted item`s information and of providing systemic information by Anova with Repeated Measurement for 10 year-oversea`s fashion collection from 1996 to 2005. Among 20 items of knitted wear, it is proved some are attentive and informative during 10 year progress. In case of S/S season, 4 items are pointed out such as Top, Shirt, Cardigan and Pants. Incase of F/W season, 11 items are selected such as Pullover, Pullover top, Blouse, Vest, Jacket, Coat, Cardigan, Ensemble, Cape, Shawl, and One-piece. Among 4 items of S/S season, as cardigan item showed high rate of increase from 2003 to 2005, the importance of cardigan item`s design in modern fashion was admitted properly. In case of F/W season, as many items were showing various up and down trends, it was noticeable that the knit design as trendy items was much regarded as important. In the meantime, according to our research on 20 items, which might show different trends in S/S season and F/W season respectively, it was noticeable statistically that there was the changing trend in two seasons among the items such as Pullover top, Top, Shirt, Polo shirt, Blouse, Jumper, Coat, and Cape. Among them, as Top, Shirt, Polo Shirt and Blouse are much concentrated into S/S season and Pullover, Pullover top, Jumper, Coat and Cape into F/W season respectively, it is proved that those are belonging to the strong seasonal-oriented items. However, as such items as T-shirt, Vest, Hood, Jacket, Cardigan, Ensemble, Shawl, Bikini, One-piece, Pants and Shirt didn`t show the difference between groups for the season, it was analyzed that those items are much influenced to the extent to fashion show to the fashion trend and not by seasonal sensitivity. Among such items Shawl and Bikini are likely to be known as strong seasonal-oriented items. Even if, in fact, Shawl for F/W season and Bikini for S/S season showed high rate of appearance, but it was proved that such difference was not so attentive statistically. Accordingly it is acknowledged visually that in view of designing, the seasonal characteristic of items was becoming faint gradually. Especially in case of T shirt, Cardigan and Ensemble, as these items are designed at the remarkable frequency both S/S and F/W season, it proves that those items represent the knitted wear`s the characteristic of season-less notably.
