다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study focuses on about 20 kinds of magazines written in Korean-Chinese style which were published in Korean modern enlightenment era from 1906 to 1910. Many kinds of magazines were published during this period and the objective of this thesis to clarify the conditions of changes of their styles. Throughout this work, I try to build the actual circumstances of a literary history and a linguistic history of this era from the field of writing that is the most concrete sphere.
This study finds patterns of Korean-Chinese style based on grammatical conditions of them and gets the statistics from the results. I compiled the data to see changes of the styles and analyzed rhetorical aspects. The first type is the form in which Chinese is appeared in sentences, the second type Chinese is appeared in phrases, and the third type Chinese is used in vocabularies, and then there is the type of Sonyon that is closed to Korean style.
I argued the concrete course in rhetorical aspects they varied from the norm of Chinese writing style in ways of rhetorical expression and logical development going with a task of Main-Korean Sub-Chinese.
Writing of the Korean-Chinese Style of Magazines in Korean Modern Enlightenment Era had an ultimate view of formation of modern nation and it was requested they have to search logic and thought keeping pace with times. The most important thing among so many detailed questions was to rearrange the importance and the position of pre-modern tradition represented in Chinese. An idea of Main-Korean Sub-Chinese was not only concerned in the frequency in use of Chinese, but it was more important how to place Chinese in writing work.
As a whole, three aspects of change were appeared in Korean-Chinese style in Korean Modern Enlightenment Era. The first aspect of change was a replacement the first type by the second type, and throughout this, the position of Chinese became considerably narrow and the Chinese tradition was reconstructed walking in step with the Korean grammar and the urgent problems. At the same time, it answered the purpose of Main-Korean Sub-Chinese and this progress, therefore, had the representative quality of times.
The second aspect of change was a replacement the second type by the third type, during this change the position of Chinese was dependant on Korean grammar and throughout this it was tried to use Chinese as a word or a means.
The third aspect of change was a replacement the third type by the type of Sonyon. It was a considerable product that Korean got important among writers and readers and consistency of sentences was organized; as a result, the expressional possibility of Korean was elevated. It would be premature to narrow of the position of Chinese taking the linguistic situation of that time into consideration, and this caused the result to exclude the process of change of Korean-Chinese, especially a product of the first aspect of change.
When we think the time only 6~7 years in which this process was accomplished, it was a great improvement that the Korean-Chinese Style in Korean Modern Enlightenment Era attained the transition of writing style like this.
