장학 개념 적용을 통한 대학 교수ㆍ학습센터 방향과 과제 탐색

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 대학에서는 교수(tearhing)와 학습(teaming)에 대한 보다 체계적이고 직접적인 지원을 위해 교수·학습센터를 설치하여 운영하고 있다. 미국의 경우 이미40년 전에 교수·학습센터가 설치되기 시작했으며 그동안 학생을 위한 학습 지원과 교수(faculty) 지원을 통해 교육개혁에 기여했다는 평가를 받고 있다. 우리나라의 경우 교수·학습센터가 신설되어 그 기능과 역할에 대한 논의가 시자되는 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 장학 개념을 적용하여 교수·학습센터의 기능과 역할에 대한 인식을 돕고 발전적인 운영 방안에 대해 탐색하고자 한다. 교수·학습센터의 강의개선과 학업수행에 대한 지원과 촉진의 역할을 통해 대학교육의 질적수준이 고양되어 질 것으로 기대된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, because of the assessment policy over the universities, the establishment of Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) has been very popular in Korean universities. But there is insufficient discussion of what the roles of the CTL in university should be to do its accountability.<br/>
The purpose of this study was to investigate and to suggest the roles of CTL from the perspective of supervision based on the Glickman's supervision theory.<br/>
CTL in university should be educational quality assurance system as follows; supporting for reflective thinking on the teaching, developing faculty professionalism, assisting to the education oriented university, facilitating the university to be a learning organization, leading to collaborative supervision and self supervision.
