투쟁하는 청춘, 번역된 저항－1980년대 운동세대가 읽은 번역 서사물 연구－ = Struggling Youth, Translated Resistance－A Study on the Translated Narrative Works Read by the Movement Generations in the 1980s－

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this writing is to closely examine types and its characteristics of the translated literature(narrative) that had influenced South Korea’s pro-democracy movement generations in the 1980s. For this, the list of the translated literatures was extracted and analyzed, which several kinds of movement organizations had utilized as the teaching material of education, among the translated literatures in the list of the sale-prohibited books by the power and the materials of the pro-democracy movement archive. Through this, it could be confirmed that the topic of the translated literature, which had influence upon the pro-democracy movement generations in the 1980s, gradually moved to the narrative, which addressed the succeeded socialist revolution in South America, Russia, and China, from the literature, which embodied contradiction and resistance of the third world, and that a boom was created in translating the North Korean and Chinese-Korean literatures from the late 1980s that the NL(National Liberation) line was popularized. With entering the 1990s, what is a pattern like the 1980s along with the advocacy for ‘individuality’ was otherized as the memory of collective repression and dogma. However, a point was asserted as saying that it needs to be re-historicized as a concept of ‘publicness.’
