효율적인 초등학교 주제중심 통합 교육 활성화 방안 연구 : 프로젝트 학습을 중심으로 = A Study For Developing and Applying Integrated Curriculum using Theme-centered Project in an Elementary School

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 주제중심 프로젝트법에 근거하여 초등학교 6학년을 대상으로 통합교육과정을 운영하고 그에 대한 연구 결과를 분석하고, 연구결과 나타났던 문제점을 파악하고 그에 대한 개선점을 제안했다. 본 연구 결과 프로젝트 학습의 효과와 학습 결과에 대한 교사와 아동들의 만족도도 높았다. 주제중심 통합교육과정은 교육목적과 내용, 방법에 학생들의 흥미나 의견을 반영하였다. 교사들의 프로젝트 학습 환경에 관한 지원도 프로젝트 학습에 영향을 미쳤다. 그러나 교사들은 프로젝트 학습의 필요성을 인식하고 있으나 많은 교사들이 직접 실행하기에는 현실적인 어려운 점이 많았다. 통합교육을 해야 하고 효과가 높다는 것만 주장만 할 것이 아니라 학교 현장에서 잘 운영되도록 교사들에게 실제적인 지원이 필요하다. 따라서 교사들에게 통합교육과정을 운영 예시안이나 통합교육과정 운영지침서를 배포할 필요가 있다. 교사들이 학생들 교육에 온전히 몰두하고 수업 연구를 할 수 있도록 학교 현장에서도 불필요한 행정 업무를 줄여야 했다. 그리고 무엇보다도 교사들이 프로젝트 학습을 운영하려는 의지가 중요하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study administers integrated curriculum using theme-centered project about 6th grade in an elementary school and analyze its result. As this study, researcher grips the problems and suggests improvement about it. As the result of this study, the effect and result of project is high in the teacher and students. Integrated curriculum using theme-centered project include s students\ interests and opinion determining an education purposes, contents and methods. Teacher\ s intervention and supporting role for creating an environment affects project. Teacher recognize the need of project but he has difficulties to manage in environment. So the Ministry of education should support the teacher to manage. It offers the managing plan about integrated-curriculum and a guide of operation. It should reduce the teacher\ s routine work. Most of all, the teacher\ s will is very important.
