한국 초등학교 교사들의 아동화 분석 사례에서 드러난 창의성에 대한 해석학적 담론 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 한국의 사회문화적 맥락에서의 창의성을 둘러싼 교육학적 가정들을 탐구하고 초등학교 현장 교사 5인을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 그들이 가르쳐온 아동들이 그린 그림을 분석하는 과정에서 드러나는 창의성에 대한 인식과 교육적 실천 접근 방식을 담론으로 수집하여 각기 다른 세 가지의 해석학적 방법: 전통주의, 온건주의, 비판주의 해석학적 관점으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과를 통해 남다르고 독특한 인지능력과 사고과정, 창의적 문제 해결에 대한 인식을 전제로 하는 다소 전통주의적 창의성에 대한 담론을 발견할 수 있었다. 또한 창의성이란 시대마다 문화적으로 달라지는 것임을 인지하고 아동 개개인이 가진 고유의 특징적인 잠재력을 창의적 요소로 인지하는 온건주의적 인식을 발견할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 창의성에 대한 기존에 설립된 가정들을 전제하지 않고 그림을 통해서 아동 자체를 이해하여 소통함으로써 교육적 실천 매개로서 인식하며 교사 자신들의 태도를 반성적으로 보여주는 비판주의적 실천 담론을 발견할 수 있었다. 따라서 오늘날 한국이라는 사회 속에서 각기 다른 창의성에 대한 해석들이 교육적 실천으로 이행됨을 알 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The educational discussions of creativity have been perpetuated since the establishment of modern art education due to significant validity of creativity education through art. Nonetheless, it is now necessary to re-visit and carefully scrutinize a number of long standing assumptions about creativity, because the contemporary place and role of art education have undergone tremendous transformations in the ways in which the concepts of art and the understandings of the nature of creativity are differently defined by the social, political and economic needs. This paper analyses the discourses of creativity revealed through five Korean primary school teachers' hermeneutic processes of their students' drawings. The data collection and analysis focus on the different assumptions of creativity filtered through three different hermeneutic views: conservative, moderate and critical hermeneutics. The outcomes of the research data analysis implicate significant roles of teachers for promoting potential abilities of developing their students' creativity in a contemporary where the meanings of creativity are more transient and uncertain; and provide a direction for critical engagement with educational practices indicating a sense of how particular notions of creativity are constantly produce
