청소년 우울이 스마트폰 의존도에 미치는 영향과 그릿의 매개효과 = The Impact of Adolescent Depression on Smartphone Dependence and the Mediating Effect of Grit

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 청소년인 고등학생을 대상으로 우울과 스마트폰 의존도 관계에서 그릿의 매개효과 여부를 파악하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 한국 아동·청소년패널조사 2018(KCYPS)의 중1패널 데이터 가운데 5차 자료(고등학교 2학년)인 2022년 데이터를 자료원으로 하였으며, 총 2,215명을 대상으로 연구를 수행하였다. 수집된 자료에 대한 통계는 IBM SPSS statistics version 29.0을 이용하여 일반적 특성 및 변수에 대한 확인을 위해 기술통계, 독립표본 t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearsons's Correlation, Baron 과 Kenny의 회귀분석, Sobel test를 이용하여 분석을 하였다. 연구결과 청소년인 고등학생의 우울이 스마트폰 의존도에 미치는 영향에 있어 그릿이 매개효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그릿을 함양하는 프로그램을 포함하여 청소년의 스마트폰 의존도를 낮추기 위한 다양한 중재가 요구된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of grit on the relationship between depression and smartphone dependence among high school adolescents. For this purpose, the data of 2022, the fifth wave (second year of high school) of the Korean Child and Youth Panel Survey 2018 (KCYPS), was used as the data source, and a total of 2,215 participants were studied. The statistics of the collected data were analyzed using IBM SPSS statistics version 29.0 to check the general characteristics and variables using descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearsons's Correlation, Baron and Kenny's regression analysis, and Sobel test. The results showed that grit mediated the effect of depression on smartphone dependence among high school students. Various interventions are needed to reduce smartphone dependence among adolescents, including programs that foster grit.
