국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 보육시설장의 전반적인 지도성 유형과 성격유형을 살펴보고 이들의 성격유
형이 지도성에 영향을 미치는지에 대해 조사해보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 충남 지역의 보육시설장 90명을 대상으로 보육시설장의 지도성과 이고그램에 대한 질문지를 실시하여 결과를 분석하였다. 산출된 결과는 첫째, 보육시설장의 이고그램에 의한 전반적인 성격유형은 성인자아상태가, 지도성 유형은 관료지향성이 가장 많았다. 둘째, 성격유형에 따라 보육시설장의 지도성에 차이가 있었다. 즉 인간지향성의 지도성을 지닌 시설장은 성인자아상태 점수가 높았고, 관료지향성의 지도성을 지닌 시설장은 순응된 어린이자아상태 점수가 높았다. 셋째, 비판적 부모자아상태와 성인자아상태와 지도성유형 간에 의의 있는 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 넷째, 보육시설장의 지도성에 대해 성격유형 중 성인자아상태와 비판적 부모자아상태의 설명력이 높았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the general tendency of day care
center(DCC) director's personality and leadership, and to determine whether
personality type by egogram affected the leadership of DCC director. Original
subjects were 117 who attended in DCC director's in-service program in
Chungnam province in Korea, but 27 subjects among them missed out several
items. Therefore final subjects were 90 DCC directors and they answered a
questionnaire(1 to 5 score, 10 items each in 3 types) about the DCC director's
leadership and egogram for personality test for themselves in a university in
Chungnam province during Aug. 12-14, 2002. The collected data were analyzed by
Pearson's correlation, oneway ANOVA and post hoc test(Scheffe test) and stepwise
multiple regression by SPSS PC program(10.0 version).
Results are as follows; first, DCC directors' representative personality type was Adult ego state(A) and their leadershiop type was bureaucratic orientation. Second, there were significant differences in humanistic orientation and bureaucratic orientation by representative personality types. Third, there were significant correlations in DCC leadership with Critical ego state(CP) and Adult ego state(A).
Finally, related variables with DCC directors explained their leaderships about 32～44%. These findings suggested that DCC director's leadership is different from their personality types.
