The opening of a new subway contributes greatly to controlling various traffic problems by reducing the demand for the car. The subway can be regarded as contributing to the improvement of urban spatial accessibility. However, it causes a lot of social pollution such as noise and vibration, and the construction of the subway costs enormously. Therefore, the opening of the subway should be able to offset these socially negative effects. Therefore, we want to measure the network extension effect of subways that have not been evaluated in the meantime by using modified repetitive sales model. The network extension effect means the effect of opening a new route and the effect of improving accessibility to a destination that existing route users can enjoy. In this study, we analyzed the effect of subway line expansion. As a result, it is expected that it will be a basis for the benefits to be considered in terms of the existing route users when analyzing the benefit and cost of establishing the subway line.
In Korea, the statistics of housing penetration rate are mainly used as an index to judge the housing supply and demand situation. However, there is still a problem of the reliability of the basic data on housing related to the household number and housing inventory, If the trend of increasing foreign households is reflected, the housing penetration rate statistics can be greatly changed.
In this paper, we propose a methodology for building the vacancy rate statistics using the electric energy usage data of the electric meter as an index to determine the supply and demand situation in the Korean housing market, and examine the possibility of the construction method by analyzing the vacancy rate of the housing.
