각국의 여가정책에 관한 비교분석 = A Contrastive Analysis of Leisure Polices in Various Countries

The purpose of this study was, therefore, to examine the state of leisure polices in Various Countries in an attempt to suggest some of the right directions for leisure polices in that region. The findings of the study were as follows: Leisure polices should be handled in view of relevant national projects, social environments and the state of leisure polices activities among the citizens. Given the findings of the study, there are some suggestions about leisure polices in Korea. Efficient local leisure promotion policies should be promoted, and necessary institutional measures should be taken to ensure the successful execution of the policies. And, the efficiency and effectiveness of policy execution should be guaranteed, and leisure administration experts should be nurtured to improve leisure polices. This study shows that the movement of developing regions through the introduction of cultural elements is apparently reinforced. This movement only is of great significance. For further studies, more efforts to review more overseas aspects have to be made to get more affirmative effects, while undergoing trial and error. New alternatives for regional development can be presented by examining the positive impacts on regional revitalization through cultural resources in the field of Leisure polices. Now, a period when a nation directly manages its Leisure policies is over. Leisure activities as a barometer for national power and changed into leisure for all people. It is no longer a competition only. Leisure policy must be laid in the hands of local government, not central, in order to benefit local people in social welfare level and many others by providing various different leisure programs.
