비서철학의 필요성에 대한 연구 = A Study on the Needs of Academic Establishment of Secretarial Philosophy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

비서직에 대한 사회적 인식과 가치의 저평가, 그리고 비서학을 공부하는 학생들의 비서직에 대한 자긍심의 저하는 비서학 학습동기 및 비서직 업무수행의 효율성 저해요인이라는 인식하에 이에 대한 대안으로 비서철학의 필요성을 제기한다. 지금까지 비서직에 대한 역할과 기능이 보조적, 수단적인 것으로 인식되고 있었다면 비서직에 대한 재인식을 위한 노력이 이루어져야 한다. 따라서 비서의 존재와 기능에 대한 근본적인 비판적 사유를 촉발하는 지적과정으로서 비서철학에 대한 논의는 의미있다고 판단한다. 비서철학을 통하여 현직 혹은 장래 비서직을 희망하는 학생들이 비서의 존재성을 확인하고 비서업무의 가치와 효용성, 그리고 그를 통한 긍지와 삶의 보람을 찾을 수 있을 것이다.
본 연구를 통하여 비서의 역할과 책임, 자신의 조직적 가치 그리고 자신들의 과업 상황을 철학적으로 설명하고 이것을 비서활동에 비판적으로 반영하는 능력은 비서학과 함께 장래의 비서인들에게 중요한 자산이 될 것으로 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It is argued that the social undervaluation of secretaries and the secretarial students' low self-esteem may be the causes of the impediment of motivation and task performance in secretarial works. These call for the needs of secretarial philosophy. If there has been a tendency of looking at a secretary as somebody performing an ancillary and instrumental role and function, it is time to change that view and to recognize the proper position of a secretary. Therefore, it is meaningful to discuss about the secretarial philosophy as an intellectual process to bring about fundamental criticism on the role and function of a secretary. Through the secretarial philosophy, the secretaries on the job and the secretarial students will confirm the value and utility of a secretarial job, find self-esteem and worth in a society. It is expected that the secretarial philosophy will provide secretaries with the potential assets to see and perform the role of a secretary with a critical mind.
