세월호 참사를 통해 본 한국인의 트라우마와 치료적 신화로서의 가능성에 대한 고찰 = The Study on Trauma of South Korean and Possibility of Therapeutic Myths through Sewol Ferry Catastrophe

국문 초록 (Abstract)

2014년 4월 16일 대한민국 전체를 분노와 슬픔의 도가니로 빠뜨린 세월호 참사가 발생하였다. 이 참사는 생존자와 유가족, 사건 관계자들뿐만 아니라 세월호 침몰을 실시간으로 목격했던 국민들에게 깊은 상처를 남겼으며 여전히 현재진행형이다. 세월호 참사로 인해 트라우마를 경험하고 있는 많은 사람들을 심리적으로 돕기 위해서 이 연구에서는 문헌연구를 바탕으로 신화의 치유적 기능에 초점을 두고 트라우마 치유에 대한 보다 근본적인 접근 방법을 찾기 위해 여러 가지 사회적 현상을 분석하여 한국인의 트라우마 치유에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있는 치료적 신화의 가능성을 발견하고자 하였다. 그 결과 트라우마 치유와 관련된 변인을 중심으로 리더십의 부재를 대신하는 공동체, 진실을 찾으려는 영웅의 움직임, 트라우마의 치유 과정에서 발견되는 고귀한 위로, 영성에 대한 갈구, 기억하고 기억되는 사람들을 세월호 참사로 인한 트라우마를 치유하는 데 활용 가능성이 있는 요인으로 분석하였다. 마지막으로 후속 연구에 대해 제언하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

On April 16, 2014, Sewol Ferry catastrophe that dropped all parts of South Korea into a state of the sorrow and rage occurred. This disaster has left deep scars to the survivors, bereaved families, officials as well as most of the Korean who witnessed the sinking of the Sewol Ferry in real time and it’s still ongoing tragedy. In order to help many people psychologically who experienced trauma by Sewol Ferry catastrophe, this study had some purposes that were to find more fundamental approach of trauma therapy and to identify possibilities of therapeutic myths that influence positively on trauma therapy of Korean through analysis of various social phenomenon with a focus on therapeutic function of myth based on literature research. As a result, focusing related variables with trauma therapy, it was the community substituted for an absence of leadership, movement of hero trying to find the truth, honorable consolation to be able to find in the process of trauma therapy, longing for spirituality, and those who remember and those who were remembered that potential variables in healing trauma by Sewol Ferry catastrophe were analyzed into (Run on sentence). Finally, it suggests the follow-up research based on the results of this study.
