역분화줄기세포를 활용한 유전질환자 맞춤형 치료제 개발 자원 확보 = Banking of resources for development of designed therapeutic regimen using iPS cells for the treatment of genetic diseases

Purposes of the study :
O Development of therapeutic regimen for the treatment of rare genetic disorders.
O Development of infra-structure of national stem cell bank
Contents of the study :
1. collection of biosamples from patients with genetic diseases- 10deiseases, 100 samples
- at present，100 samples from approximately 40 different diseases(Yonsei Univ.-50, Seoul Natl Univ.- 30, Catholic Univ.- 20)
2. Development of researcher’s network
一 Closely communicate with other related academic societies such as Korean Society of Medical Genetics, Korean Society of Inborn
Errors of Metabolism etc. The formal network could not be made because of short period of study.
3. Collaborative relationship between network and stem cell bank
一 Researchers of the project have had close communication with stem cell bank concerning the management of bio-samples for iPS cell line construction, status of donated cell and matters for improving iPS cell establishment.
4. Preparation of standard informed consent that can be used in other studies.
- Informed consent for patients containing the explanation of processes that can be used for IRB screening

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구목적 :
o 난치성질환 극복을 위한 치료제 개발 둥 실용화 촉진
o 국가줄기세포은행 질환자 역분화 줄기세포 인프라를 구축
o 유전질환을 중심으로 질환자 체세포자원 • 기초정보 수집
o 세계적으로 역분화 줄기세포를 이용한 치료법이 관심의 대상이 되는 시점에서 국가적인 관련 질환 연구 기반 구축 및 경쟁력 확보를 위해 필요함.
연구내^;
1. 유전질환 환자 시료 확보 - 10 개 질환 대상 100 건
- 약 40개 질환，100개 시료확보 (연세대 50개，서울대 30개，카톨릭대 20개)
2. 연구자 네트워크 구축
- 연구자 간의 네트워크 구축은 현재 연구팀 이외에 대한 유전성 대사질환 학，대한 의학유전학회 둥의 회원 및 전문가들과 수시로 의견 교환 및 필요한 대상 질환에 대해 조언을 얻고는 있으나 과제의 연구기간이 짧아 아직 정식으로 네트 워크틀 구성하지는 못하였음.
3. 네트워크-줄기세포주 은행 간의 협력 관계 구축
- 연구팀과 줄기세포 은행 간에는 환자의 시료 채취 이후부터 전달 및 관리에 대하여 수시로 협력 관계틀 유지하고 있음. 연구팀에서 전달된 환자 시료에 대한 줄기세포 확립 여부 및 상태 등에 대해 확인 후 추후의 시료 채취의 개선점 둥에 대해 조언을 받음
4. 타 연구 과제에서 활용할 수 있는 동의서 가안 마련
- 줄기세포 자원확보를 위한 환자 설명문 및 동의서 서식마련 및 각 기관 IRB 승인
