정신장애인 사회복귀시설의 취업률에 영향을 미치는 기관 특성 = Institutional characteristics affecting the employment rates of Community psychiatric rehabilitation centers

Community psychiatric rehabilitation center is the most representative organizations that provide vocational rehabilitation services for the people with the psychiatric disorders, but it lacks support and very few researches have been done. This study analyzes the institutional characteristics affecting the employment rate of community psychiatric rehabilitation centers. The survey was carried out in daytime centers and the results were analyzed data from 64 locations, which is 71.1% of total centers nationwide. Regression analysis was performed on input factors and service factors as institutional characteristics. It was found that the surveyed centers received operation management and program operating costs lower than the standard. The operating expense ratio was 10% of the total budget and vocational rehabilitation expense was 20% in average of the program operating expense. The employment ratio of total personnel using the center was 1/4 in average, and simple labor and service occupations were the most frequent employment types. The regression analysis results showed that the institutional characteristics affecting the employment rate of the centers was the operating expense ratio, the frequency of maintaining employment support service, the level of financial support, and the presence of supported employment. Based on the results, this study proposed political implications for activating the vocational rehabilitation in community psychiatric rehabilitation centers.
