중국 연합합동군사훈련의 전략적 진화와 한반도 안보환경의 구조적 변화 = The Strategic Evolution of China's Joint Military Exercises and the Structural transformation of the Security Environment on the Korean Peninsula

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 2015년 이후 중국의 연합군사훈련이 전략적으로 진화한 양상과 그로 인한 한반도 안보환경의 구조적 함의를 분석하였다. 중국은 러시아 및 기타 국가들과의 협력을 통해 훈련의 지리적 범위를 확대하고, 전력 능력을 고도화하며, 다영역작전(MDO)을 실전화하는 동시에 외교적 메시지를 강화하고 있다. 이러한 변화는 동북아에서 군사적 긴장과 전략적 불확실성을 심화시키는 요인으로 작용한다.
문헌분석과 사례연구를 통해 본 연구는 중국 훈련의 유형을 분류하고, 군사·외교·정보 차원에서 그 전략적 의미를 평가하였다. 특히 중·러 협력의 공고화와 북·중·러 3각 협력의 부상이 동북아 전략 균형을 재편하는 핵심 요인임을 규명하였다.
이에 따라 한국의 대응 전략으로 감시·정찰 능력의 고도화, 다자외교의 확대, 정보전 대응체계 구축을 제안하였으며, 본 연구는 동북아 안보 담론에 기여하고 한국의 국방·외교정책 수립에 정책적 시사점을 제공한다.

This study analyzes the strategic evolution of China’s joint military exercises since 2015 and their structural implications for security on the Korean Peninsula. China has expanded the geographical scope of its drills, enhanced force capabilities, operationalized multi-domain operations (MDO), and strengthened diplomatic signaling through cooperation with Russia and other partners. These developments have intensified military tensions and strategic uncertainty in Northeast Asia.
Drawing on literature analysis and case studies, the research classifies the patterns of China’s exercises and evaluates their implications across military, diplomatic, and intelligence dimensions. Particular attention is given to the consolidation of Sino-Russian cooperation and the emergence of trilateral North Korea–China–Russia collaboration as key factors reshaping the regional strategic balance.
The study proposes South Korea’s response strategies, including the advancement of surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities, the expansion of multilateral diplomacy, and the establishment of a comprehensive information warfare response system. By situating China’s evolving military posture within the broader dynamics of Northeast Asian security, the research contributes to scholarly debates on regional stability and offers policy-relevant insights for South Korea’s defense and foreign policy.
