The purpose of this study is to investigate the cognitive style of learning disabilities and the effects of teaching strategies through hemispheric laterality on elementary school science achievement of learning disabilities. To survey the status of elementary school science learning disabilities in the 5th grade, a total of 554 students from 10 elementary school located in Inchon city was involved. Also, we implemented right-brained program and left-brained program to 6 classes from two elementary school in Inchon city. The results are as follows : 1. The science learning disabilities was 26.2% and correlation of science achievement and I.Q. was statistically significant. 2. The science learning disabilities was interested in physical acitivity and have a hatred for social activity and literature. 3. The right-brained program was more effective than left-brained one for the science learning disabilities.
