서울시 재가노인복지시설의 형평성과 특화도에 관한 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, as the population of the elderly increases rapidly, the special facilities for the elderly now become a very serious social problem in Korea. Considering financial burden, however, more attention needs to be paid to the equity rather than the total number of in-home care facilities for the elderly. In this study, equity refers to ‘equal access for equal need’. The primary objective of this study is to analyze the equity and the degree of specialization of in-home care facilities for the elderly among autonomous districts(Ku) in Seoul by the Coulter’s Index of Inequity and Location Quotient(LQ).
This study finds a great regional inequity of in-home care facilities for the elderly among autonomous districts(Ku) in Seoul. Both central and local governments should make efforts to improve the regional equity of in-home care facilities for the elderly.
