      The purpose of this study is to find out the level of awareness and understanding of life long education for the disabled among Secondary special education teachers in charge of related work and to find ways to improve it in order to smoothly link the life long education of students with special education preparing for adulthood. To find out the perceptions of secondary special education teachers, in-depth interviews were conducted with all over the country in advanced and careers classes, and the related data were analyzed using continuous comparative analysis. As a result, 10 top topics and 26 subtopics were derived in 3 categories. 1. Experience and perception of life long education for the disabled 2. System of special education and life long education for the disabled, 3. Access to related information and awareness education on life long education based on measures to revitalize life long education for the disabled, special education and life long education for the disabled Differences, understanding, and revitalization of education were discussed, and suggestions were made for qualifications and training of professional personnel, cross-training of special education and life long education experts, and standardization and systematic promotion of life long education institutions.
