미술표상과 연계한 유아 환경교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

미술표상과 연계한 유아 환경교육프로그램 개발 및 효과를 분석한 본 연구는 ‘유아 환경교육 실태와 교사 인식조사 연구’, ‘유아 환경 신념과 태도 검사도구 개발 및 타당화 연구’ 그리고 ‘미술표상과 연계한 유아 환경교육프로그램 개발 및 효과’ 분석 연구의 세 영역으로 구분하여 수행하였다. 각 연구별로 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
연구I: ‘유아 환경교육 실태와 교사 인식조사 연구’의 목적은 유아 환경교육에 대한 유치원 교사의 인식과 실태를 분석하여 유아 환경교육 이해와 효과적 운영에 기초정보를 제공하는 데 있다. 환경교육에 대한 유치원 교사의 인식과 실태를 파악하기 위해 문헌분석, 전문가 집단, 유치원 교사와의 협의를 통해 연구도구인 설문지를 개발한 후 연구 자료를 수집하였다. 개발된 설문지는 ‘환경교육에 대한 인식’, ‘환경교육에 대한 교수효능감’, ‘환경교육 실태’, ‘환경교육에 대한 요구’의 4개 영역으로 구분하여 구성하였다. 연구대상은 유치원 교사 214명이었으며, 수집된 자료는 카이검증, t-검증, One-Way ANOVA를 실시하였고 집단간 차이를 분석하기 위해 Scheffé 검증을 통해 추후분석 하였다. 연구결과 환경교육에 대한 유치원교사의 인식과 실태는 유치원 교사의 배경 변인에 따라 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
연구 II: ‘유아 환경 신념과 태도 검사도구 타당화 연구’는 유아 환경 신념과 태도 검사도구를 개발하고 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 유치원에 재원중인 유아 278명과 유치원 교사 60명, 유아교육 전문가 20명이었다. 본 연구에서 개발한 유아 환경 신념과 태도 검사도구는 평균, 표준편차, 탐색적 요인분석, 상관계수, Cronbach's a를 구하여 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 분석결과 문항 이해도가 4.25, 문항 적합성이 4.12로 내용타당도가 높은 것으로 나타났고, 탐색적 요인분석 결과 4개의 요인(오염예방, 자원절약, 자연친화, 동식물 관심/보호)이 추출되었다. 유아 환경 신념과 태도 검사도구의 총점과 하위 영역 간, 하위 영역의 총점과 문항들 간의 상관계수도 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로 문항내적 일치도가 .779로 양호하게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 본 연구에서 개발한 유아 환경 신념과 태도 검사도구는 타당도와 신뢰도가 높은 검사도구 임을 입증한 것이라 하겠다.

‘Development and effects of the environmental education program for young children linked to the visual art representation’ organizes the following three parts: 'Analysis on the Status and Teachers' Awareness of Early Childhood Environmental Education’, ‘Validation of the Environmental Belief and Attitude Scale for Young Children’ and ‘Development and effects of the environmental education program for young children linked to the visual art representation’. The results of the three studies are as follows:
The Study I: The purpose of ‘Analysis on the Status and Teachers' Awareness of Early Childhood Environmental Education’ was to analyze the status and early childhood teachers’ awareness of environmental education for young children and discuss the way to promote the efficiency of environmental education for young children. A questionnaire was developed based on prior literature, research and arrangements with early childhood professionals. The questionnaire is composed of 4 items of 71 questions related to ‘general awareness of environmental education for young children’, ‘teaching efficacy of environmental education for young children’, ‘status of environmental education for young children’, and ‘requirements of environmental education for young children’. The subjects in thi
