The purpose of this study is to present the ways of describing errors for demonstration of interlanguage meaning system and applying the result of error analysis to the Korean language education for foreigners. For the annotation method for error description, four items of annotation technique, namely error type, extent of error before correction, extent of error after correction and domain of error are suggested. With this type of error annotation method, the interlanguage corpus of English speaking learners of the Korean language are practically analysed. The result of the study identified the lexical error patterns of interlanguage, presented the learning items for learners, and suggested the ways of applying lexical error description to the field of Korean language education.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고에서는 中間言語 意味 體系 定立을 위하여 새로운 誤謬 記述 方法을 제시하고, 誤謬 資料 分析 結果를 외국인을 위한 韓國語 敎育에 活用하는 방법을 살피고자 한다.여기에서는 오류 기술을 위한 註釋 方式으로 네 개항의 註釋 記述 즉, ‘誤謬 類型type－수정 전 誤謬 範圍extent－수정 후 誤謬 範圍-誤謬 領域domain’을 제안했다. 우리는 이러한 誤謬 註釋 道具로 영어권 中間言語 말뭉치를 표본으로 하여 실제적인 分析을 하였다. 그 결과 본고의 誤謬 記述 方式이 기존의 오류 기술 방식보다 중간언어 의미 체계를 記述하거나 학습자 교육 내용에 접근하기가 용이하다는 점을 확인하였다. 또한 誤謬가 記述된 결과물을 정리하여 誤謬 目錄, 발화 의도 표현 목록 및 학습 항목 등의 교육용 자료를 제시하여 한국어 교육 현장에 활용하는 방안을 살펴보았다.
