해외주재원 육성 및 관리에 관한 연구동향 분석: 국내외 학술논문의 연구주제를 중심으로 = Research Trends on the Corporate Expatriates: Analysis of research topics found in domestic and overseas academic journals published

Since 2000, domestic corporations have focused on resolving the economic crisis, and exploring overseas markets and expanding the scope through enhancement of international competitive power, and because of increase of enterprise activities frequently crossing the frontier, the importance of human resources development and management of expatriates, but studies for this are insufficient. Therefore, this study is to offer an opportunity to trigger a follow-up study related to expatriates available in administration of enterprise in this nation in the future through an analytical study on research trends focusing on research topic of accessible theses in a thesis area of domestic and foreign academic journals in Research Information Sharing Service(RISS) offered by Korea Education and Research Information Service(KERIS) of research papers related to expatriates. As a result of analysis, in case of this nation, 41 research papers were run in 29 academic journals from 2000 to 2016, and in case of foreign countries, 251 research papers were run in 126 academic journals. To analyze research topic, 18 research topics of work area and non-work area were used as an analytical framework, and both domestic and foreign studies related to expatriates ran adaptation most as a research topic. However, in case of foreign countries, various topics were studied, but in case of this nation, five research topics of 18 research topics were not studied, and studies on non-work area in this nation are relatively less than research papers run in foreign academic journals. Based on these analytical results, this study suggested a conclusion that in this nation, it is necessary to attempt to study topics highly related to adaptation of expatriates variously, and the necessity of an empirical study considering diversity of research topics and a study including non-work area should be raised once more.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

2000년 이후, 국내기업들은 경제위기를 극복하고 국제경쟁력 강화를 통해 해외시장을 개척하고 외연을 확대하는데 주력해 왔으며 국경을 넘는 기업 활동의 증가로 해외주재원에 대한 인적자원개발 및 관리의 중요성이 인식되고 있으나 이에 대한 연구는 충분하지 못한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구는 해외주재원과 관련한 연구논문들 중 한국교육학술정보원에서 제공하는 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)에서 국내외 학술지논문 영역에서 접근할 수 있는 논문을 연구주제 중심의 연구동향 분석 연구를 통해 향후 국내에서 기업경영에 활용가능한 해외주재원 관련 후속연구를 촉발시키는 계기를 제공하는데 있다. 분석결과 국내의 경우 2000년부터 2016년까지 29개 학술지에서 41개의 연구논문의 게재되었으며 해외학술지에서는 126개 학술지에서 251편의 연구논문이 게재되었다. 연구주제를 분석하기 위하여 업무영역과 비업무영역의 18개 연구주제를 분석의 틀로 활용하였으며 국내외 해외주재원 관련 연구 모두 연구주제로 적응을 가장 많이 게재하는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 해외의 경우 다양한 주제로 연구가 이루어지는데 반해 국내의 경우 18개의 연구주제 중 5개의 주제는 연구조차 이루어지지 않았으며, 비업무영역에 관한 연구도 해외의 학술지 게재 연구논문에 비해 상대적으로 적은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 국내에서도 해외주재원의 적응과 관련하여 연관성이 높은 주제들을 다양하게 연구를 시도할 필요가 있으며 연구주제의 다양성을 고려한 실증적인 연구와 비업무 영역을 포함하는 연구의 필요성을 다시 한 번 제고해야 한다는 결론을 제시하였다.
